Yield can be reduced when wildlife feed in agricultural fields. To best protect crops, it is important to know which species is actually causing the damage so that time and resources aren’t wasted managing for the wrong species. Purdue University’s Identification of Wildlife Crop Depredation guide provides producers with photos and other research-based information to help identify crop damage by crop type or wildlife species.
